Leela Kapur, President
Leela is a parent of a Valley Village resident. Leela has served on the Valley Village Board of Directors since 2007. She retired from public service after serving over 39 years in the Los Angeles County Counsel and LA City Attorney offices.Catherine (Cathy) Casas, Vice President (2010 to present)
Cathy, currently Vice President and Chair of Board Development, as served on the board for over 14 years. Cathy is a retired healthcare executive, and she is passionate about the Valley Village community of exceptional staff, volunteers, and clients.  Her service is done in honor of the memory of her younger brother Joe, born with challenges, yet lived his life with exceptional exuberance and joy.Steve Beilinson, Treasurer (2004 to present)
20 years as a member of the Valley Village board and currently serving as the Treasurer.  Happily married for 51 years, Steve is retired after a 45-year career in commercial banking with positions in New York, Los Angeles, and Milan, Italy.  Among several activities, Steve enjoys traveling, playing table tennis, golf and long walks with his wife and friends.Thomas Belli, Secretary
Tom Belli is the SVP Group Head – California Healthcare with LDB Bank. He joined the Board in the fall of 2017 and was elected to the Secretary role in 2021.

Jan Maseda, Assistant Secretary (2023 to present)
Jan joined Valley Village’s Board in 2022 as Ass. Secretary on the Executive Committee.  Jan’s daughter has lived in a Valley Village residential home for 18 years.  Jan, now retired, served as President and CEO of Lutheran Social Services of Southern California, Area Director for the Los Angeles region of Lutheran Social Services, Regional Director for Tri-Valley Special Olympics, and has served on the Board of Tierra del Sol as Chairman and other positions for the last 14 years.  She has received numerous awards throughout the Los Angeles area for serving people with developmental disabilities.  Jan has two daughters and a husband, and they all enjoy traveling, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends.

Christina M. Anthony, Board Member (2023 to present)
Christina rejoined the Valley Village Board of Directors in 2023 and is a member of the Fund Development committee. Christina’s daughter Tina is a long-term resident at the Lurline home. They both enjoy and look forward to their annual visit to Disneyland.

Larry Diamond
Larry is a parent of a Valley Village resident and is a retired CPA. He serves on the Audit Committee and the Board Development Committee. Larry has served on the Valley Village Board of Directors since 1999.

Janet Greer, Board Member (2023 to present)
Janet joined the Valley Village Board of Directors in 2023 as a family member/conservator for a long-time resident of Valley Village. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking, and swimming.

Randy Haege, Board Member (2023 to present)
Randy joined the Valley Village Board of Directors in 2023. He is a longtime member of the Valley Village Legacy Group. Randy is a retired public-school administrator with the LAUSD and is currently working part-time for LAUSD in Human Resources. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, playing pickleball and golf, and playing drums with the original rock band, Clear Sky, based in Ventura County.

Linda Y, Johnson, Volunteer (2029 to present) and Board Member (2022 to Present)
Linda is the Informatics Training Manager – Inpatient at UCLA Health.  While she doesn’t have any family at Valley Village, she had an older sister who was disabled with cognitive impairment.  Thinking of her sister and engaging with the Valley Village clients has given Linda so much pleasure and satisfaction. In her free time, Linda loves a quick trip to Disneyland or attending an LA Dodgers baseball game.  Also, her three affectionate cats (all rescues) make her life complete.

Marla Kort
Marla is a parent of a Valley Village resident and a retired clinical laboratory scientist at Los Robles Medical Center. Marla has served on the Valley Village Board of Directors since 2007. Marla has adopted Valley Village’s Archwood House.

Jennifer Marquardt
Jennifer is an experienced CPA and also a parent of a Valley Village resident. Jennifer joined the Board in 2016.

Carson Schreiber
Carson is retired from Disney Music and is the founder of the Kiwanis Entertainment Industry Group. Carson has served on the Valley Village Board of Directors since 2006.
